Rejection Can Make Us Stronger
If you only live for people's acceptance, then you will die from their rejection.
I think we have all experienced some form of rejection in our lives. Whether that is from work, school, friends and even someone that we are interested in.
Rejection is something that we all face. But it is how we deal with it that can build us or break us.
Some of the hardest rejection that I went through was in friendship. It was a really difficult period of my life to go through because I was pushed away by my best friends, who I truly loved and shared a lot of my life with. It made me feel like I was no longer loved, that everything we went through wasn't worth it, and that I wasn't worth fighting for.
But when I reflect back on my life now, I saw how God used that time to bring me to where I am today. He guided me through that rejection, to bring me to the beautiful sisterhood that I now have with my dearest friends.
As I look back on my life, I realize that every time I was being rejected, I was actually being redirected to something better.
My sisters, I will never say rejection doesn't hurt, because it has the power to break us down, to make us feel like we aren't valuable. But the truth is that that is a lie!
We deserve true friendship! We deserve that dream job! We deserve that true love! When you doubt that just take a look at the Cross. We were worth DYING for! That makes us worth everything. Do not let the evil one convince you otherwise!
And remember... don't let rejection stop you! Keep going and trust that this redirection is only leading you down the most perfect path for you.
Praying for you.
In Christ, Diana
