God Has a Plan
This past week I was about to make a huge decision that would change my life. I put down an offer to purchase my first home.
I was so excited but unfortunately, things didn't go as planned. The offer fell through and I lost the house that I was convinced was meant for me.
In a strange way, I felt like something was taken from me because upon taking this step, I started to build this dream in my head of how I would decorate it, what I would do in each room, and how I would make it totally my own.
I'll be honest — I felt really frustrated; most of all frustrated with God that it didn't turn out the way I wanted.
Then today, as I sat down to write this reflection, I asked God to guide me and show me what He wanted me to reflect on.
And suddenly, I came across this quote:
"God is not in a hurry. You are. It's why you are tired. It's why you are anxious, stressed and disappointed. Trust that what is meant to be yours, will be yours."
I believe the Lord sent me this message and it never ceases to amaze me how God will often speaks to us in the clearest of ways.
I felt so incredibly anxious with anticipation, frustrated and disappointed when things didn't go the way that I had planned them out to be. But the Lord reminds us that He has it all in His hands. All we have to do is trust Him and let Him guide us.
My dearest sisters, do we truly believe that God will take care of us? If so, why do we stress and worry ourselves?
God is not in a hurry, only you are trying to jump ahead. Be patient and walk with Him. Enjoy the path that He has set out for you.
Praying for you.
In Christ, Diana
