Allow self-discovery to work for you.

If you don't do well with high-intensity workouts, try low-intensity workouts, so that you can actually enjoy working out. If your weekly planners are getting left untouched, year after year, perhaps a calendar on your phone would be able to help you keep track of your schedule, and decrease your stress level. If you love to be creative and are looking to develop a meditative practice, find ways to incorporate these two together. Maybe grab an empty sketchbook and design verses of the bible, as a way to reflect on that verse and what it means to you.

Self-knowledge… one of the greatest tools we have and sometimes the quickest path to humility!

If we want to grow, we need to be taken out of our comfort zone and continuously challenged. Growth is often hard and uncomfortable but there are certain things, such as knowing ourselves, that help us along the way. For instance, noticing that we are full of energy in the morning can show us that we would benefit more from doing certain things during an earlier time, rather than having them done later. Or perhaps it is later during the day that we find ourselves more productive.

The message I hope that you receive is that there are ways in which you can help yourself more fully experience, and even enjoy, the process of change, through self-discovery. You can even come to see change as an opportunity to get to know yourself better, and thus uncover your beauty, in its fullness. Not sure about you, but I really appreciate being able to see the things that make me, me. It makes me feel special, unique, irreplaceable in the eyes of the Creator.

Today, I invite you to notice what comes easy for you, what feels a little more difficult and use the former to help you with the latter. Be gentle with yourself as you challenge yourself, one day at a time, in cooperation with God's grace, and in partnership with a sea of women, desiring the same things as you.
